Eric Sze-Lang Chan is a multi-disciplinary artist exploring the creative intersections between the visual-arts and technology. Eric has been active in both solo and group shows across North America and Asia.
In 2007, he was designated as one of Tiger Translate’s Asian Kinetic Artists (A.K.A) - a multi-disciplinary collective reflecting Asia's rich, diverse and contemporary character. His works has also appeared/featured in publications such as Source Illustration Book (Harper Collins Design), Beautiful Decay, BPM and online such as JoshSpear.com.
Commercially he has worked with clients from Canada such as Mini Cooper to conceive their annual MINI financial services calendar to Tokyo, Japan for the cover art of Susumu Yokota's Skintone Compilation album. He has been recognized for the "Excellence Award" for Illustration in the Computer Arts Magazine: Issue 150 - Graduate Showcase 2008, finalist for the 2007 FITC Self Promotional, 2006 FITC Best Canadian Student, and numerous web awards online.
Eric holds a ’00 OAC diploma in Arts Canterbury’s Visual Arts program, '04 diploma in Computer Science with Honors from Algonquin College and '08 graduate majoring in Interactive Multimedia and Design at Carleton University.
