Senior Project fair is just around the corner. I've been working with my team (Hannah Johnston, Alicia Landry, and Jordan Shaw) on an interactive art installation built in Processing. In a nutshell it is an interactive system where people can play around with text relating to certain emotions via input from the Internet.

My role was lead developer for this project. As it was my first attempt in creating and developing an installation piece, I must say I've learnt a whole lot about it. Music credits goes to my fav artists Nujabes, Force of Nature and Fat Jon for O.S.T Samurai Champloo Impression album.

Hey all, sorry for the lack of updates. Been extremely busy balancing my crazy schedule. One reason for my lack of updates is because I have been working on an exclusive collaboration with Mini Cooper Canada's annual 2008/2009 calendar.

This is 13 illustrative project - each month has a different illustration complimenting each MINI! The physical calendar is minimalist in design - about 5x7in that sits nicely on a table and will be distrbuted to every Mini financial dealerships...so yea if you are planning on checking out a Mini, be on the look out for this calendar.

Also BIG shout out goes to the TAXI crew especially to Chris Zawada for making this collab possible! Its all about the late nighters!

So yea, its been almost a year since eepmon v.3 Flash launched. I must say that this site has gone far and realized some of my goals that I wanted in an immersive interactive site. Anyhow, for those who don't know, there is an easter egg in my site. Nothing special in regards to functionality but it looks cool I think. For anyone interested I've posted a pick of it and the hint to access it is there too.

For the holidays I'll be over in Tokyo and Nagoya, Japan between December 13th to January 3rd. Time flies so fast...I better start packing soon. I'm hoping to check out many exhibitions when I'm there, anyone that knows of cool places please let me know!

I would like to say THANKYOU to everyone showing up at my show. The turn out was unbelievable and such a kick !@#$ time.

Big thankyou to Arlene Lim for helping me SO MUCH going around town with me preping for the show ( sorry for all those last minute errands... ). Without you, this show wouldn't be nearly what it was!

Ah the long awaited Tiger Translate 2007 GOLD book is here! Again I gotta give IdN the kudos for curating the Tiger Translate event. It was a great project to work on and honored to be acknowledged as a member of A.K.A.

Created a T for devotion4 - a sweet independant line based in Vancouver. This T will be produced sometime later in August and will be limited in number.

Tiger Beer has chosen my pieces to be exhibited in the third leg of the Tiger Translate2007 global tour entitled GOLD.

June 2nd, 2007: For those who were wondering what happend to the eepmon website - the site moved to another server which explained why it was offline for several days...my apologies.

Now that things are getting back to normal, I can get back to my work. Here is another piece that I just completed. I call this Lady Portrait... (17x22). View larger image on my gallery section.

May 24th, 2007: Umeboshi is an urban footwear and accessories boutique for men & women located in Vancouver, Canada. They’ve got some really awsome selections, check it out if you are in the area.

On June 23rd (date subjected to change), Umeboshi will have a group exhibition of selected artist showcasing their custom sneaker / boot apparel. Myself and several other artist will be custom designing an Adidas sneaker (the image shown above). These shoes will be auctioned off for charity.

I will post the completed design after the show!

April 23rd, 2007: This summer I will be with Fleming Creative Group - Switch Interactive division working on several multi-platform projects. FCG is based in Vancouver, Canada.

April 10th, 2007: This year, my Flash based eepmon website is a finalist for the FITC2007 Self Promotional category! The site took about 6 months to complete, from concept to final.

March 20th, 2007: The 5 Tiger Translate Project GOLD illustrations are complete. Check them out in the Gallery or Project sections

These works as well as the other A.K.A artists will appear in the Tiger Translate publication curated by IdN (International Designers’ Network) Magazine.
